Patrick Edelmann

Patrick Edelmann joined the Focused Ultrasound Foundation team in April 2020, with responsibilities including: spearheading the Foundation’s initiatives with Emily White, MD, to facilitate commercialization of the technology; launching our Institutional Giving program with Ann Taylor to include family offices, corporate foundations, and community foundations; and leveraging our Veterinary Program on a path to widespread utilization for the treatment of companion animals.

After nearly two decades at BlackRock, Inc. – where he was a managing director and member of the Global Allocation Fund overseeing healthcare-related investments across all asset classes and geography – Patrick developed the desire to build something that was entrepreneurial and aspirational. He left BlackRock to join a Mideast family office to establish the group’s investment strategies within the US. Patrick received his BS from Vanderbilt and an MBA from the University of Virginia, and is a CFA charterholder.
