UVA Announces $300 Million Paul and Diane Manning Institute of Biotechnology
- The University of Virginia (UVA) has launched a new biotechnology institute to develop cutting-edge medicine that revolutionizes how diseases are treated.
- Foundation supporters Paul and Diane Manning generously gave UVA $100 million to form the institute, which will be named in their honor. The additional funding will come from the Commonwealth of Virginia and UVA.
- The institute will make Charlottesville an even greater hub for medical research and manufacturing.
- The Foundation supports this high-impact endeavor to amplify research, development, and commercialization.
