AIUMThe annual integrative ultrasound meeting of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) was held March 12-16, 2022, in San Diego, CA. The two scientific sessions that featured focused ultrasound presentations were titled “Therapeutic Ultrasound,” and “Therapeutic Applications in Cardiovascular Medicine: Mechanisms and Instrumentation.”

The Foundation’s Research Director for Applied Physics, Frédéric Padilla, PhD, attended the meeting.

“The Focused Ultrasound Foundation and AIUM have developed an incredible partnership for promoting and supporting the field,” said Dr. Padilla. “We are happy to work with AIUM to support this multidisciplinary medical association and its multiple activities beyond the annual meeting, including workshops, webinars, and standard-setting work groups.”
