On Thursday, November 5, 2020, Drs. Bucknor and Ghanouni will share their research in the field of focused ultrasound.
Dr. Bucknor will provide background on the scientific basis for using focused ultrasound to promote anti-tumor immune response effects and provide an overview of a trial of pre-operative MR-guided focused ultrasound for patients with soft tissue sarcomas.
Dr. Ghanouni will discuss current and upcoming applications of MR-guided focused ultrasound, with an emphasis on body applications. He will also cover technical innovations for improving safety and efficacy.
