Jennifer Hochrein

Jennifer Hochrein joined the Foundation as Managing Director of Finance & Administration in 2022, working to provide leadership and expertise in financial and administrative operations and reporting. Prior to joining the Foundation, Jennifer was the Administrator of the UVa Department of Neurosurgery. In that role, she provided strategic, financial, and operational management for the department, served on a variety of task forces related to quality improvement, compliance, and process improvement, and worked closely with the hospital CFO and other financial leaders on planning and problem solving. Before her time at UVa, Jennifer worked in a variety of roles for CIGNA HealthCare of Virginia and as an accountant at Ernst & Young. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce from the University of Virginia McIntire School of Commerce and an MBA from the University of Richmond. Jennifer also coaches cross country for Charlottesville High School.
