Symposium 2020 Preview
On Monday, the Foundation will begin its first-ever virtual Symposium. The 7th International Symposium on Focused Ultrasound will bring together the global community of researchers, clinicians, industry leaders, and other stakeholders.

A few things to know about this year’s meeting:

  • The Symposium will run on the virtual platform Showcare.
  • More than 250 presentations will be available via a variety of formats, including live talks, prerecorded “on-demand” videos, and posters. See the Final Program >
  • New sessions have been designed to facilitate collaboration among virtual attendees, including roundtable discussions and Q&A opportunities.
  • The program includes an impressive group of keynote speeches and special lectures from inspiring pioneers in research, medtech, and innovation. See the Speakers >
  • Nir Lipsman, MD, PhD, and Lawrence Crum, PhD, will be recognized with the Ferenc Jolesz Memorial Award and the Visionary Award, respectively. 
  • Social media users should share their experiences using the hashtag #FUSF2020.

Look for Two Emails
When you register for the Symposium, expect a confirmation from Cvent and a separate email – from a Showcare address – containing login information. Remember to check your spam folders if you don’t see an email.

Don’t Wait to Register

Don’t Miss: Two Carveout Sessions Dedicated to Partner Organizations

This year, we are dedicating time in the schedule to two important partner organizations: the International Society for Therapeutic Ultrasound (ISTU), whose conference in May was canceled due to COVID-19, and the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH).  


Participate Early in an FDA Town Hall Session 

Participants can pose questions to FDA reviewers, scientists, and management anonymously and in advance of the session on Friday, November 13.
