Meeting Report: The European Conference on Interventional Oncology (ECIO) 2023

The 2023 European Conference on Interventional Oncology (ECIO), which is put on by the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe (CIRSE), was held April 16–20 in Stockholm, Sweden, and virtually. 

Over the course of four days, 126 internationally renowned experts from various fields of cancer care (surgeons, radiation therapist, medical oncologists, and more) delivered more than 150 lectures and symposia to 1,400 healthcare professionals from 63 countries.
