Mary and Marjorie have been supportive of focused ultrasound through their family foundation and have a close tie to the Foundation – Mary is the sister-in-law of Philip Keevil, the chairman of the UK Focused Ultrasound Foundation and senior advisor to the Charlottesville, Virginia-based Focused Ultrasound Foundation.

“Mary and Marjorie bring to the Council an extensive network of contacts, and their tremendous enthusiasm to raise awareness for the potential of focused ultrasound will undoubtedly help advance the field,” said Foundation Chairman Neal F. Kassell, MD.

Mary was first introduced to focused ultrasound several years ago when she attended a presentation by Dr. Kassell. She was inspired to pass on the information to Marjorie.

Mary and Marjorie share, “We have followed the Foundation’s progress ever since through Philip and are now looking forward to helping advance its efforts as part of the Council. We are excited to help spread the news far and wide about focused ultrasound’s groundbreaking therapies.”
