health management cover2In its recent cover story, HealthManagement tackled all aspects of brain research, including focused ultrasound in an interview with the Foundation’s chairman, Neal F. Kassell, MD.

Kassell spoke to the ongoing studies examining the use of focused ultrasound to treat disorders such as essential tremor, Parkinson’s disease and tumors, and extrapolated to future research on stroke, Alzheimer’s disease, epilepsy and opening the blood-brain barrier.
