On Tuesday, September 15, 2020, from 12:00pm to 1:15pm Eastern, the Breast Cancer Alliance (BCA) will host a virtual symposium, titled “Hot Topics in Breast Cancer”. The meeting will address new challenges in breast cancer in light of COVID-19, advances in treatment, and the role of stress and diet with regard to prevention and recovery.
BCA encourages all to attend, including patients, those who have not been diagnosed but want to learn, and medical professionals. There is a minimum suggested donation of $50 to participate. Information about focused ultrasound approaches to treating breast cancer will be included in the electronic educational program booklet.
The symposium will be moderated by Judy Woodruff, anchor and managing editor of PBS Newshour. Panelists include:
