General Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Project Overview
I partnered with Nate Owen to introduce AI into Foundation employees’ workflow, helped develop the website’s new chatbot, and created systems to aid the Foundation’s Research and Education team.
Project Outcomes
We created a system that can be used to help train the website chatbot to improve its accuracy. We also created a training course on ChatGPT that the Foundation can deploy to help familiarize its employees with this generative AI tool.
What surprised you the most (good or bad) about your internship experience?
I was surprised by how efficient an office can be. Everybody is working harmoniously, and the product is greater than the sum of its parts.
What new skills or knowledge did you gain during your internship?
I had never used ChatGPT before this summer, and now I’ve designed a whole course around it.
What is one tip that you would give 2025 summer interns?
Be sure to share your work with as many other employees as you can, including interns. You never know who is doing something similar or who can help.
