  • Dr. Lewis-Hall has spent 40+ years on the frontlines of healthcare as a clinician, researcher, and leader in the biopharmaceutical and life sciences industries.

  • The Council provides strategic advice, assists with raising funds, and builds awareness.

  • Foundation Board member John Grisham and Chairman Neal F. Kassell, MD, will discuss focused ultrasound as part of the Geschke Lecture Series.

  • In May, the Foundation convened a virtual workshop to discuss focused ultrasound for glioblastomas.
  • More than 260 people, including 60 experts from 58 institutions around the world participated.

  • These projects include 10 preclinical laboratory studies and 5 clinical trials.

  • The NIH Blueprint MedTech Program is an incubator for innovators developing groundbreaking medical devices.
  • The program is offering funding for innovative early-stage technologies to treat or diagnose nervous system disorders.  
  • Awards up to $1.5 million per year are available.

  • Focused ultrasound research on transcranial neuromodulation was featured on “From Brain to Behaviour,” which highlights the most exciting brain research published by Nature Communications.
  • The National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering (NIBIB) funded this research.
