| Symposium 2020 Preview |
On Monday, the Foundation will begin its first-ever virtual Symposium. The 7th International Symposium on Focused Ultrasound will bring together the global community of researchers, clinicians, industry leaders, and other stakeholders.
A few things to know about this year’s meeting:
- The Symposium will run on the virtual platform Showcare.
- More than 250 presentations will be available via a variety of formats, including live talks, prerecorded “on-demand” videos, and posters. See the Final Program >
- New sessions have been designed to facilitate collaboration among virtual attendees, including roundtable discussions and Q&A opportunities.
- The program includes an impressive group of keynote speeches and special lectures from inspiring pioneers in research, medtech, and innovation. See the Speakers >
- Nir Lipsman, MD, PhD, and Lawrence Crum, PhD, will be recognized with the Ferenc Jolesz Memorial Award and the Visionary Award, respectively.
- Social media users should share their experiences using the hashtag #FUSF2020.

Participant Experience: When You Register
Look for Two Emails
When you register for the Symposium, expect a confirmation from Cvent and a separate email – from a Showcare address – containing login information. Remember to check your spam folders if you don’t see an email.
Don't Wait to Register
There may be a lag time of up to one hour between when you register and when you have access to the meeting.
