Cancer Immunotherapy Plus Focused Ultrasound for Breast and Pancreatic Cancer

Researchers at Stanford University are investigating solid tumor microenvironment response to focused ultrasound ablation combined with cancer immunotherapies.
The combination treatment induced distinct responses in each of the two models.
The Foundation- and NIH-funded preclinical study was conducted in models of breast and pancreatic cancer.

Freda Lewis-Hall, MD, Joins Foundation’s Board of Directors

Dr. Lewis-Hall has spent more than 40 years in healthcare as a clinician, researcher, and leader in the biopharmaceutical and life sciences industries.
She has been involved with the Foundation since 2021 as a member of the Council.

8th International Symposium on Focused Ultrasound Proceedings Now Available

In October 2022, more than 600 attendees from 23 countries gathered for the Foundation’s Symposium.
The program featured over 40 panel discussions, special sessions, and keynote speakers.
A final meeting summary is now available and presentation videos are archived on YouTube.
