Patients with melanoma may be interested in participating in a new cancer immunotherapy clinical trial at UVA Health.
Lynn Dengel, MD, will enroll an estimated 11 participants with advanced melanoma to receive focused ultrasound before undergoing standard of care surgery.

This one-year fellowship for an early-career scientist is designed to foster focused ultrasound immuno-oncology research.
The recipient receives a $75,000 stipend, and applications are due January 21.

Focused Ultrasound Intellectual Property Update: Fourth Quarter 2024

The Foundation tracks recently issued patents and patent applications filed with the US Patent Office related to the field.
