Focused Ultrasound Foundation Fall 2016 Progress Report

We have seen exciting advances for focused ultrasound this year. The FDA approved the treatment of essential tremor, and Medicare agreed to reimburse the procedure - both firsts for focused ultrasound in the brain. In August, a record number of clinicians, scientists and other stakeholders discussed their research and fostered collaborations at our 5th International Symposium. We are energized by this progress, and we feel closer than ever to making this exciting technology a reality for millions of patients worldwide.
