On Monday, March 25, 2013, Canadian TV (CTV) broadcast a follow-up report about Tony Lightfoot, a man who had been severely debilitated by essential tremor for more than a decade. He was the fourth patient treated in the Focused Ultrasound Foundation-funded Essential Tremor Pilot Study at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto.

Lightfoot, who underwent his noninvasive focused ultrasound procedure three-months ago, reports being "a new man" due to significant tremor reduction in his treated hand. The CTV story noted that preliminary pilot study data has been published in The Lancet Neurology, a leading Briitish medical journal. Data showed that the study's first four patients experienced an 81 percent improvement in their tremor within three months. ACCESS STORY
