Project
Profiling Asia-Based Companies and Conducting Research on Strategics in Relation to Regulatory Approval of Focused Ultrasound Indications

Project Overview
This project helped extend the Foundation’s outreach to Asia by conducting preliminary research on relevant companies. I also worked on strategics in relation to regulatory approval of focused ultrasound indications for targeting mergers and acquisitions marketing.

Project Outcomes
I submitted research profiles and my strategics research findings to the Foundation team.

Why were you initially interested in working with the Focused Ultrasound Foundation?
I think the technology that the Foundation is promoting is fantastic. The work done to expedite the development and application of focused ultrasound will make a difference in the medical industry.

Did you complete your work at the Foundation’s offices or virtually? How do you think your location impacted your experience?
I completed my work virtually from Hong Kong. The distance limited my contact with others at the Foundation (the cursed 12-hour time difference!), but I was still given many opportunities to work with others, and thus never felt too isolated.

How will your accomplishments impact the field of focused ultrasound?
By providing the Foundation with research on various companies, I hope that we are better able to support the different focused ultrasound studies and help increase the support of the technology both within the US and internationally.
