Preprint use is growing rapidly, and COS believes that it is important to solicit the research community's attitudes about preprints to foster a scholarly dialogue about the opportunities and challenges of using them.
The data will be openly available for use in whatever way would be most useful for engaging the community.
Participation in this study involves:
- A time commitment of 10 to 20 minutes.
- Completion of a survey involving researchers qualitative, subjective evaluation of factors related to the credibility of preprints.
