King Family Vineyards, based in Crozet, Virginia, has partnered with the Travel Corner, based in Williamsburg, Virginia, to organize a July 2022 cruise and wine tour along the Seine River in France. In honor of the late David King, former owner of the vineyard, a portion of each booking will be donated to the Foundation.

The Focused Ultrasound Foundation has had a longstanding relationship with King Family Vineyards, and we are honored to be included in this opportunity.

“Our late co-founder, David King, endured a long and difficult battle against cancer,” said a representative from King Family Vineyards. “He was able to stay in the fight for so long in part due to the advanced treatment that he received through the efforts of the Focused Ultrasound Foundation. The technology and expertise made available through the Foundation is truly unparalleled in the world of cancer treatments and research.”

Founder and Chairman Neal F. Kassell, MD, added, “David was a close personal friend and advocate for focused ultrasound technology. The Foundation has a longstanding relationship with King Family Vineyards, and we are honored to be selected as the beneficiary for this amazing trip.”

The cruise will sail for seven days and has been carefully curated to appeal to epicureans, historians, and Francophiles alike. Destinations on the itinerary include Normandy, Giverny, Paris, and more. Hosted by King Family Vineyard’s winemaker and Rhone Valley native Matthieu Finot, the cruise is an incredible opportunity to experience the world of French wine.

The cruise is being organized through AmaWaterways and will depart on July 2, 2022. Only bookings made through the Travel Corner office will benefit the Foundation. More information is available from David Hoar at david.travelcorner@live.com or (757) 220-1920.
