The Foundation’s FUS Partners Program hosted a webinar on high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) for the treatment of varicose veins in conjunction with focused ultrasound manufacturer Theraclion.
Following an overview of the pathophysiology and medical consequences of varicose veins, two clinicians who have recently started using this technology to treat patients commented on their experiences. We closed with a panel discussion addressing the US and European market perspective for this procedure and other business related aspects of incorporating this technology into a clinician’s practice.
