Eliza PhillipsThe Foundation is pleased to welcome Eliza Vellines Phillips as Managing Director, Development.

Phillips is an experienced executive with an illustrious career in raising funds, designing and implementing advancement programs, and recruiting fundraisers.

She established Phillips Philanthropy Advisors, a successful independent philanthropic advisory firm with clients, including individuals, family foundations, grassroots organizations, and major universities and institutions. She also previously served as Director of Leadership Gifts at the University of Virginia and consulted for The Thomas Jefferson Foundation at Monticello.

In her new role, Phillips will lead the Foundation’s efforts in fundraising and increasing awareness of the technology among stakeholders. She will also work collaboratively with the Board of Directors, Council, and key staff to provide leadership, direction, and overall management of the Foundation’s development program.

“Eliza is a fantastic addition to the team,” said Foundation Chairman Neal F. Kassell, MD. “She brings skills and experience that will result in a quantum improvement in the Foundation’s development and awareness programs. Her leadership abilities will greatly enhance the organization’s efforts to advance focused ultrasound technology and improve the lives of millions.”
