The Focused Ultrasound Foundation, a dynamic medical research, education, and patient advocacy organization created as the catalyst to accelerate the development and adoption of focused ultrasound by streamlining the process and overcoming barriers. Based in Charlottesville, VA but with a global reach, the Foundation is a tax exempt, high-performance, entrepreneurial, service organization that is market-driven and results-oriented.
In order to advance the mission of the Foundation, we are seeking a Data Validation Specialist. This position will work closely with the Director of Salesforce Platforms and members of the scientific and administrative staff. This is a full-time hybrid temporary opportunity available for approximately 3 to 6 months or part time position for 6 to 12 months. For the right candidate this has the potential to become permanent.
Responsibilities
- Oversight of staff data entry.
- Responsible for maintaining data integrity which includes reviewing verification reports for complete and accurate records. Resolve discrepancies by researching and/or communicating with appropriate staff.
- Facilitate data governance by supporting assigned data owners as needed.
- Conduct data cleanup through online searches for information on contacts and organizations in the focused ultrasound research and clinical community. Review final entry results with appropriate scientific staff.
- Create/modify Salesforce reports.
- Train others on data entry and basic reporting.
- Create and/or edit documentation, if needed.
- Data entry support into Salesforce CRM database of backlogged contacts
Qualifications
- 2+ years of data entry/validation experience; Salesforce a plus.
- Bachelor’s Degree required, Master of Library Science or similar degree strongly preferred. Graduate or professional degree with life sciences will be strongly considered.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
