The first experiences in the pig model of intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) have revealed that it is difficult to determine whether the clot is solid or liquid based on the collected MR images.. This represents a major impediment as it is difficult to determine based on the MRI signal whether the sonothrombolysis of the ICH was successful. The established description of the MRI signal mainly relates to the age of the clot and the state of degradation of hemoglobin. The imaging atlas we propose to create will allow the comparison of the MRI signal of solid and liquid clot at different time points. It will be possible to use this atlas as a reference during the ICH pig experiments to determine the solid/liquid status of the clot, and the success of sonothrombolysis in liquefying a solid clot.
