Ellen McKenna has become FUSF Director of Communications. Most recently, she worked for the University of Virginia Health System, where she provided public relations support for the FUSF’s first Focused Ultrasound Center of Excellence.
Ellen has an extensive background in strategic communications planning and content development. Her experience spans several entrepreneurial ventures, a succession of managerial positions at AT&T and Bristol-Meyers Squibb, and her own consultancy practice that specialized in strategic planning, marketing communications and public relations.
She earned a BA in Journalism/Public Relations from Kent State University in Ohio and an MBA in Marketing from Rutgers University in New Jersey. |
