The Focused Ultrasound Surgery Foundation's third Brain Workshop convened from October 23rd through the 26th and was attended by 77 participants from 12 countries representing about 30 different institutions, companies and government agencies. Leaders in the field presented recent findings and status updates on clinical, preclinical, and technical research projects. Projects were also discussed that should be planned and executed before the next Brain Workshop in order to accelerate the clinical adoption of MRg-FUS.
A white paper generated from this event is now available for download. This white paper provides an overview of the topics of discussion and the outcomes of the meeting in terms of working groups established and outlined plans of research activity over the next 1-2 years.
