The following is a list of clinical trials that are ongoing for the treatment of uterine fibroids using MR-guided focused ultrasound surgery (MRgFUS).  While the MRgFUS device manufactured by InSightec has already received regulatory approval for the commercial treatment of uterine fibroids, further post-marketing clinical trials are ongoing with this device to investigate enhanced applications. Clinical trials have also begun for the MRgFUS device manufactured by Philips.
