Bone Metastases Clinical Trials

The following is a list of clinical trials that are currently ongoing for the treatment of pain resulting from metastatic bone tumors and multiple myeloma using MR-guided focused ultrasound. While InSightec's ExAblate 2000 system has already received regulatory approval in Europe for the commercial treatment of bone mets pain, pre-market clinical trials of this device are still underway for regulatory approval in the United States. Pre-market clinical trials for the palliation of bone mets pain are also underway for both the InSightec Conformal Bone system (Exablate 2100) and the Philips system.
