In a video interview, Laurence Klotz, M.D. disscusses the groundbreaking clinical trial conducted from 2009-2010 at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. In that trial, eight men with early stage prostate cancer were treated with a MR-guided thermal ultrasound device developed at Sunnybrook. Results were promising and now two more trials are planned.
