Heather plays the critical role of fostering collaboration to accelerate the worldwide adoption of focused ultrasound. She currently oversees the Collaborative Research Network (CRN) and the Center of Excellence initiative. Under her direction, the CRN has expanded to include over 80 worldwide sites. Heather is spearheading the establishment of the Foundation’s second Center of Excellence, with an announcement expected in early 2012. She is currently engaged in discussions with other focused ultrasound sites and industry-partners about future Center of Excellence designations. Heather also serves as the Foundation’s liaison with industry and the financial community.
Heather holds an MBA from the Darden Business School and a B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Virginia. Her prior experience includes roles that are both culturally and professionally diverse: Private Equity Associate, DLJ Paris; Co-Founder, SNC French Wine Imports; Pharmaceutical Representative, Eli Lilly & Company
