Sara Horton began working with the Foundation in July 2009. As the Foundation’s Controller, she brings over 10 years of financial experience. Sara works closely with the Foundation CFO and Business Manager to ensure compliance and transparency for all Foundation financial transactions. As a graduate from the University of South Carolina, Sara has a diverse background in nonprofits and for profit companies. Sara spent several years as the Director of Finance for MVLE, a nonprofit company in Northern Virginia.
